Axiom Trade Fee Tiers
Axiom lists seven tiers. Its documentation says total trading volume raises the multiplier, which increases cashback and lowers the published net platform fee. The 1% gross column is the common base used in the explanation below.
Scroll the table horizontally to compare every column.
| Tier | Multiplier | Gross fee | Cashback | Net fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wood | 1X | 1% | 0.05% | 0.95% |
| Bronze | 2X | 1% | 0.10% | 0.90% |
| Silver | 2.5X | 1% | 0.125% | 0.875% |
| Gold | 3X | 1% | 0.15% | 0.85% |
| Platinum | 3.5X | 1% | 0.175% | 0.825% |
| Diamond | 4X | 1% | 0.20% | 0.80% |
| Champion | 5X | 1% | 0.25% | 0.75% |
The table shows platform fees after tier cashback, before any referral discount. It does not include network charges or execution effects. Check Axiom’s current tier documentation before trading.
03 / THE BREAKDOWN
How Axiom Cashback Changes Your Fee
Cashback is the difference between the explanatory 1% base and the published net tier rate. Subtract it once. Applying the net rate and then subtracting cashback again would understate the fee.
$9.50 net tier fee
$10.00 gross platform fee − $0.50 tier cashback = $9.50.
$7.50 net tier fee
$10.00 gross platform fee − $2.50 tier cashback = $7.50.
These are simplified platform-fee examples for one $1,000 trade. They exclude referral discount, network costs and any change in execution price. Cashback timing and eligibility should be checked in the live platform.
04 / SIGNUP DISCOUNT
Does an Axiom Referral Link Reduce Fees?
Axiom’s official referral documentation currently says users who sign up through a referral link receive a 10% discount on trading fees. This is a discount on the fee, not a reduction of the trade amount by 10%.
For the calculator, we apply 10% to the net tier fee after cashback. On a $1,000 Wood example, that is 10% of $9.50, or $0.95, leaving an estimated $8.55 platform fee. Axiom’s live terms and promotions control the actual charge.

05 / BEYOND THE PLATFORM RATE
Platform Fee vs Total Trading Cost
“Fee” and “total cost” are not always the same. The calculator isolates Axiom’s estimated platform fee. A real trade can be affected by several other items, depending on product, network and market conditions.
Axiom platform fee
The published tier rate applied to the trade amount. This is what the calculator estimates.
Network or gas fee
A blockchain transaction may require a separate network payment. It can vary with network conditions.
Priority fee
An optional or configurable payment for transaction priority where the platform offers it.
Slippage
The difference between the expected and executed price. It affects the outcome but is not the same as a platform fee.
Price impact
Your order may move the market price, especially where liquidity is limited.
Spread
Where applicable, the gap between buying and selling prices is another part of execution cost.
On Solana, Axiom’s network-fee documentation discusses priority settings and slippage. Our Solana trading fee breakdown separates protocol and swap costs, while the Axiom slippage guide distinguishes tolerance from actual execution. Product-specific rules can differ; our published perpetuals guide covers leveraged trading separately and explains why this spot-style calculator does not estimate derivatives costs.
05A / TRANSACTION CONTROLS
How to Set Fees on Axiom Without Confusing the Cost Layers
Axiom documents configurable Solana transaction controls including a priority fee, an optional bribe and slippage tolerance. These settings are separate from the platform trading-fee tier. Open the current transaction settings or order panel, identify the unit shown for each field, and review the estimated output before submitting. A higher setting can increase cost and still cannot guarantee confirmation or a preferred execution price.
Use the Axiom Trade settings guide for a control-by-control explanation. The Solana priority-fee article explains the network mechanism, while the slippage guide explains why tolerance is not the same as a fee.
06 / THE FULL CYCLE
What About Buying and Selling?
Consider both entry and exit. A platform fee may apply to each trade, and network or execution costs can arise on both sides. A quoted entry fee is therefore not the complete cost of opening and later closing a position.
At the Wood net tier rate, a $1,000 buy estimates $9.50 in platform fee. If a later sale also had a $1,000 notional value, the two platform-fee estimates would total $19.00 before referral, network and execution costs. This assumes the same notional value for entry and exit only to illustrate the arithmetic; the real exit value and costs can differ.

08 / COST DISCIPLINE
How Axiom’s Published Structure Can Reduce Costs
- Know your current tier. Higher documented tiers have more cashback, but eligibility depends on Axiom’s rules.
- Check referral eligibility. The documented signup discount may lower the platform-fee portion when it applies.
- Inspect transaction settings. Network and priority choices can affect costs and execution.
- Avoid unnecessary transactions. Multiple trades can create multiple rounds of costs.
- Review network conditions. Timing and congestion can affect non-platform charges.
Additional trading can cost more than the fee reduction saves. A lower rate does not make an unsuitable trade worthwhile.
If you are evaluating the platform more broadly, see our independent review and published risk and safety guide.
09 / DIFFERENT TERMS
Fees, Cashback and Rewards Are Different
A fee is a charge connected to a trade. Tier cashback reduces the effective platform fee in Axiom’s published schedule. A referral discount is a separate signup benefit described in its referral program. Rewards or points may follow their own eligibility and payout rules.
Keep these concepts separate when comparing offers. Our published rewards guide explains points and rewards; our referral guide explains the documented signup discount.
10 / QUICK ANSWERS

Does the calculator include slippage?
No. Slippage and price impact depend on execution and are not included in the platform-fee estimate.
Are Axiom fees the same for every product?
Do not assume so. This calculator models the documented tier schedule for platform trading fees; check the live terms for the product you use.
Can Axiom change its fees?
Yes. Fee rates, discounts and program rules can change. Check the official documentation and live order information before trading.
11 / TRANSPARENCY
How We Calculate These Estimates
We checked the tier and cashback schedule against Axiom’s official fee page and the signup discount against its official referral page in September 2026.
- Multiply the entered notional by 1% for the gross platform fee.
- Subtract the chosen tier’s published cashback once.
- If selected, estimate a 10% referral reduction on that remaining net tier fee.
We exclude network and execution costs, promotions, product-specific rules and future changes. The calculator is independent of Axiom and does not request a live quote.
12 / THE TAKEAWAY
Check the rate, then the whole trade.
Axiom’s published tier cashback brings a 1% gross platform fee to net rates between 0.95% and 0.75%. A documented referral discount may lower the eligible fee further. Neither figure tells you the full transaction cost on its own: network charges and execution effects still matter.
Use this calculator to understand the platform-fee arithmetic, then check Axiom’s live fee information before trading because terms can change. Our beginner guide covers the wider workflow.
